Introspection
For sometime I was working on an on-going Series that began from a personal experience that I had a couple of years ago with a discussion with a suicidal patient. I did not know exactly how I wanted to depict this series but after sometime and through numerous reworking, I had managed to get the imagery I needed for an illustrious approach. The Series deals loosely on the idea of the Intangible and Human Conscious;

This is not a series on portraits but this one at least began as a self-portrait and sort of evolved into something else. The guy did have my hair at one point in the drawing, but it just didn't feel right for me at the time. When you see the entire series, you should be able to feel the context.

Like most of my work, this came out differently than I thought.

he's sorta got your right eye. hmm..and the backdrop is interesting. it's like something out of alice in wonderland. there's something unfinished about the colors...but that's just my inital feeling.
it's about time.
keep on,
