While I was brainstorming awhile back, I was thinking of something a lot more elaborate that would somehow characterize his own filmography. However, I soon came to feel, and most may agree, that one connects much more to his more recent films. (the past 5-8 yrs)
It came out very different than I thought it would. The likeness unfortunately is not where I want it to be. But oh well, I have a lot of other things to work on. I may go back to it later on.

i like his expressive eyes...and the jacket. makes him look serious and casual at the same time, formal and informal, heavy and light...
after watching "broken flowers," this portrait has deeper context in meaning. his facial expression is just about right. especially for someone who had so many girlfriends that hated him. lol.
